The short of it: I’m an artist living with my four children, one husband, three dogs and two parakeets all under one roof with only one bathroom! Believe it!
The art of it: I have always been a lover of color, light and movement and creating something from just organic, raw emotions. Each piece starts with a feeling or an thought, and I use that as my inspiration in colors and tone and mood as I work each piece. I am consistently fascinated by the evolution the canvas takes as I work through all of the nuances that were the basis for my initial inspiration. And when I get to the end result and I hear from others just what the piece means to them, I am gratified that they are able to internalize and adopt their own meanings in new and beautiful ways.
